GEOGRAPHY: Botswana is a landlocked country, bordered by South Africa in the south, Zambia and Zimbabwe in the north, Namibia in the Northwest. WHEN TO GO: While anytime of year is good to visit Botswana, the best time to view the game is from June through September, when the grass is dry and short, making it easier to see the game. January through March provides the opportunity to see the newborn babies and the beauty of a new earth after the rains. November through March is also the best time for bird viewing.

VISAS: US Citizens do not require a visa to enter Botswana. All visitors require a passport, return or onward tickets, and sufficient funds to cover their stay in Botswana.
