Masai Mara
One of the most well-known wildlife reserves in the world, the Masai Mara lives up to its reputation. While care must be given to avoid the masses of minibuses that dominate parts of the Mara, this park is quintessential wildlife Africa. The Mara’s rich grasses may be the wildebeest migration’s dry season refuge, but they are faced with one of Africa’s richest predator densities. A few days spent on safari in the Mara can produce sightings of thousands and thousands of animals, with numerous lion sightings each day.
The best times to view the migration are from July to the end of September.
