Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Chyulu Hills
A very large area of Southern Kenya is dominated by the Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Chyulu Hills wildlife areas. These three areas offer a fantastic diversity of landscapes, from grasslands and acacia woodlands to mountains and riverside forests. Large concentrations of elephants turn a reddish-brown from Tsavo’s red soils. Horse safaris are offered in the Chyulu Hills area for experienced riders.
