the United States and spend quality time with you to
customize your safari to Africa. Whether planning a family
safari or honeymoon safari, they take the time to discuss
your specific interests, budget, time constraints, and
other needs.
Using their firsthand knowledge of Africa, they will
create an itinerary that is perfect for you. Before you
travel, you will receive all the information you need.
They will also make a final itinerary tweak and add restaurant
bookings, private tours, tee times, spa appointments,

In July 2000, Meredith Hill decided to marry her
passion for travel and for Africa and created Hills
of Africa Travel, Inc. Married to a Zimbabwean,
Meredith has traveled extensively throughout southern
Africa |

Sandy Salle, Chief Executive
Officer
A native of Zimbabwe, Sandy was born
and raised in southern Africa. She believes that
the next best thing to living in Africa is sharing
it with others. |

 Mark Homann is the newest addition to the Hills of Africa team. Raised in Zimbabwe’s farming community, Mark earned his Professional Guides license at the young age of twenty-two. His formative years as a safari guide were spent managing camps and leading specialized safaris for companies with a heavy focus toward sustainable, community-based natural resource management.
Following his passion for conserving Africa’s wilderness and natural history, Mark joined The Malilangwe Trust in 2001 as their Chief Guide, overseeing their safari related activities. In 2004, he moved to the U.S. to work with The Malilangwe Trust in Zimbabwe and the Grumeti Reserves in Tanzania’s Serengeti, both nonprofits helping to shape conservation efforts through tourism.
Mark and his family now live outside of Hilton Head, South Carolina, where he works as a safari consultant to safari organize in Eastern and Southern Africa.
We are delighted that Mark has decided to join the Hills of Africa as one of our Africa travel specialists and he looks forward to helping you prepare for your Africa trip of a lifetime.

Pam is a spectacular tour guide based in Cape Town.
Equipped with an endless knowledge of Cape Town, its
suburbs, the winelands, and the Garden Route, she is
a treat to anyone’s itinerary. With an obvious passion
for food, wine, and her lovely city, Pam ensures her
tours are culinary affairs, which are often the highlight
of our clients’ itineraries.

Natasha Iles
Natasha is our trusted agent in Johannesburg. She will
meet you at the airport on your arrival and will host
you for the duration of your stay. Natasha will show

Russell Gammon
Russell Gammon is an exceptional historian with a special
interest in African heritage. Russell conducts The Mists
of Time heritage tour in Victoria Falls. While with Russell,
you will explore the origins of the waterfall and the
people who have lived in the land anointed by its mists.
Russell has a strong affiliation with the local Africans,
and you will have the privilege of visiting Monde Village
and / or Mkuni Village to experience how the majority
of people in Africa live their daily lives. Hills of
