As you may already know, I started Hills of Africa Travel in September 2002 (I can’t believe it’s been 13 years!!) in an effort to share the riches of my homeland (Africa!) with discerning travelers. My husband and I were both born and raised in Zimbabwe but moved to the United States in our 20s where we started a family.
It is incredibly important to me to share the world’s cultures with my children, and allow them to experience it first hand. And, of course, Zimbabwe is one of my favorite places to bring them. Not only to share with them where I grew up, but also to open their eyes to the beauty of the world, outside our home in North Carolina.
